She obtained her MA and a post graduate diploma in Contemporary Art History at the University of Milan, with a thesis regarding theoretical and practical issues in the conservation on complex installations using Moving Image and Sound. Iolanda Ratti attended courses on managing, cataloguing and preserving New Media, in particular SOIMA 2009. at ICCROM She’s worked at Museo del Novecento, Milan from 2004 to 2010, when she joined the Time Based Media Conservation Department at Tate Gallery, London. In 2014 she got a position as Contemporary Art Collections Curator for the Municipal Museums, Milan.
